The SPUR Foundation is a non-profit charity organization that raises awareness and funding to provide support and information for patients, families and care givers who are battling Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) and/or other types of rare neurological degenerative conditions.
We are working to transform Sunshine Prairie Ranch into a guest ranch that provides a place of rest & refuge, as well as, support and information for families who are battling Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) or other types of rare neurological degenerative conditions.
We believe that taking a holistic approach, as we battle these horrific diseases, will help to improve the quality of life, not only for the patient, but for the family and/or caregivers as well.
Our goal is to provide, what we like to refer to as, Cowboy or Ranch therapy. I have been blessed to live this western lifestyle all my life and I know firsthand the benefits of fresh clean air, fresh whole foods and a fresh perspective when facing very difficult challenges!
We are planning to open our first cabins in the Fall of 2018!
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25
